Is the American accreditation system too complicated?

A lot of master's and doctoral-granting universities have national accreditation. Everyone is accrediting the same types of schools. It's redundant.

As a foreigner from Peru. I would say that the American Education System is very confusing, but a forum like this one is usually the best
place to clear up most of the doubts and learn more about it. I was aware of the big three when I started college (1995), but I did not
understand all the ins and outs of the American Education System until later in time when I found out about this forum back in 2008
(maybe a little bit earlier). Thanks to the level of depth and resources provided by the forum I was able to finish my Bachelor with TESU in 2013.

In regards to the nationally accredited (NA) schools like Penn Foster, Ashworth and others. I think that they have their time and place
based on your individual situation and perspective. A College or University will only provide you with credentials and good education,
but the rest is up to you.
