Italian Online Master in Economics & Finance for 4.5k from a Top-School

Has anyone here managed to get accepted to this program?

I applied twice and got denied twice without an explanation.

Just curious if anyone has successfully been admitted to the program?

The University of Naples Federico II, one of the best universities in Italy offers an online master in English. The price is fantastic and it's a unique program. The advisor said the program has one start per year in January.

It's 60 ECTS (30 US credits) and can be completed in a year. it seems like the dissertation is shorter than for typical European masters.

I am currently applying for this program. I believe they will be making a decision on or after the 22nd of this month.

UIUC IMSM is in Management, it's got AACSB, good by itself, if you get a 70% scholarship, it can go down to $4K, but then the subject matter is not really in Economics/Finance.  Essentially, it boils down to how much has put in to budget for their Masters education... If they have a larger budget in place, up to 10-12K, then the MOOC options from Coursera/EdX may work.  If you only have a budget of say $5K, then this particular option should work for you.

Any tips to get that 70% scholarship? It's not financial related since they don't ask anything about income in the application. I wonder what type of keywords could trigger it?

The scholarship is not unique to Gies, but University wide.

It is based off your FAFSA and is purely based on financial need.

And I found this official decree from the Rector:
Only 34 applicants this year, quota 100 → they admitted literally EVERYONE who applied (some just need to send missing degree docs).

So the university officially says ALL applicants are in… but somehow I’m still out. Make it make sense ?

Maybe the 100 quota is for Italians and they go through a rigorous process... For rejections, they don't have to respond with anything specific, if they deem it's not necessary. They might have a quota for non Italians and once that's met, even if they don't hit the 100 quota, that's it for international students.
