Ivy League or close ?
#1
I'm just curious. Has anyone applied to a top named or Ivy League school, with a Big 3 or next 9 degree and been accepted for grad school ?

I think that there's a guy who got into a top law school (possibly accepted into a couple others) after a Big3 degree? I think most students here don't have the money for an Ivy League degree, even if they wanted it, so we're not going to hear much about such things.

I live near Cornell and it's 1000% not in my budget. Nor are most programs available online which is what I really need. I have the grades to be accepted, but I also don't have 2 years to be on campus completing a degree that I can complete online in under a year. Keep in mind that Ivy League actually refers to a sports division which is really an odd thing to be based on considering what people have come to assume about the Ivies.

What's a next 9 degree? I think that's the first time someone mentioned "next 9"... let me see, there have been a few people from the Big 3 and CBE providers going onto Ivy League and Top 50 schools, someone even became a professor at Harvard!

Charter Oak publishes a partial list of graduate acceptances which includes Columbia, Harvard, Penn, and Yale for four out of the eight official Ivies. Other acceptances there include Johns Hopkins, MIT, and Oxford.

DUH LOL

HES is not the same as being accepted into Harvard though. You're not a Harvard alumni which is kind of weird. But it's Harvard. They do strange things.
