Almost done! everything boils down to one exam
#1
Hey guys,

I'm 117/120 credits thanks largely to these forums, total time was around 6 months (had ~33 CR's going in). I will post a breakdown of my degree which is CS once I'm finished.

My last exam is the TECEP CMP-354 the networking one, and even though I've taken several networking classes it never seems to stick. Can anyone give some feedback about the exam? I'm slightly nervous about it as a failure (sub 70 grade) would mean postponing graduating for several months, which is something I am trying to avoid.

The textbook seems super dated, and there is a slew of recommended youtube videos. I am working through the text, but I am worried the test itself won't be so antiquated.

Any feedback about the exam would be helpful.

Hmm, Yeah, I took it a while back, it's really not as bad as you think it to be. A recommendation is I would practice as much as I can with the Saylor practice exam I think it was CS402, I don't remember what I used but that's what I recall. Get as many notes taken as possible in regards to concepts you don't understand and know them.

Oh, if you didn't already take any Certs, taking the $49 a month Google IT Support Professional would give you a quick rundown on the entire thing too, some finished it before the 7-day trial ended and it was FREE! Again, just review what you don't "know or understand in regards to the concepts".

Thanks so much I will take a look at the saylor course. I have till the 26th to take it so I've been studying pretty rigorously. I've read on here that the majority of questions deal with the OSI model and tcp/ip.
