The work station I was working on would idle every time the proctor would type in her ID and password. There is no phone number to call for tech support. We had to do an online chat with someone who did not even know what was going on. I ended up getting on finally after three hours paid my $80 prometric took the money and then canceled my test saying the request was to old. So now I am out $80 and will have to email them over and over to get the money back. The lesson I learned is if you have a problem DO NOT take the test if it has been one hour since you started the process. They will take your money but you will not be able to test. So four wasted hours and out $80.

Good advice. I hope you can take the test again quickly so you don't forget everything you studied for. Maybe you can find a testing center with newer computers?

Well this the only testing here in this area of Alaska. Maybe next week.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I had about the same problem awhile back, only I was able to finally test. It doesn't help that you're already pumped-up about the test with your adrenaline running. The more you wait the worse it gets. I think a time comes when its better not to take the test because your mind is distracted by other things. After they finally got my computer running, it took awhile for me to slow down and concentrate on the test. Good luck in the future.
