That is what I'm still confused about too. In your current degree plan, does it have you listed in both AOS? If so, is it showing two capstones to complete? Once I meet with an advisor I'll update. My degree plan has a social science (which I might switch to humanities) and a science major. Each has a capstone, and I interpreted that to mean they were separate. But I'm at least a year out from that (unless I really cram) so I haven't discussed with advising to confirm that.
If you take a TECEP, you will be enrolled and can get additional evaluations and advising. There are several one-credit options now, so about $80 for the test and proctor.

Interesting, thanks for sharing! Could be that when you eventually get to the capstone they'll ask you to pick one of them, but that depends on TESU.
I figured TECEPs were the way to go about it, thanks. I mentioned it my advisor during my first meeting and he said something about TECEPs being in a different category, maybe he misunderstood my question. I'll probably enroll in Computer Concepts and Applications, I've heard it's pretty straightforward for CS/IT and will count towards the CS electives.

He might have thought you were asking about residency. If you do not "establish residency" by taking 15 (16?) credits at TESU, you have to pay a special residency fee on top of the tuition for the courses you do take. (I think the language around "residency" has changed because residency has nothing to do with residing in New Jersey or on campus, but I don't remember what it is off the top of my head.) Members of the US military can count TECEP credits toward their residency, but others cannot. Taking a TECEP will, however, change your status from applicant to enrolled student.

You know what? It probably was that because I vaguely remember the topic of residency coming up. At the moment I haven't decided whether I'll enroll in any courses, or just transfer them all in and take the capstone (especially because it might be two of them lol) I think it would also be more expensive for me as I'd be charged international tuition so paying the residency fee waiver would be cheaper, but those calculations are for another day. Do I have to take the actual exam or can I just enroll in a TECEP and it'll change the status?

You may want to save Computer Concepts and Applications for an e-Pack course if the full term nets out cheaper. Network Technology TECEP would be your other relevant option and is some nice UL credit.
Btw, if the Psych major requirements end up too onerous, I think you could honestly do Computer Science and Liberal Studies with a Psych concentration. Most people only do Liberal Studies as a fast degree but it’s not ridiculous to pitch it like an interdisciplinary add-on to your computing degree.
