If I had it to do over again, I probably would have not included my FEMA courses on my transcript with Charter Oak. I graduated with 129 total credits, and transferred in 6 FEMA credits. This means that if I had not transferred in FEMA, I would have graduated with 123 credits. The number doesn't bother me, but it seems that I did the extra work for nothing.
But it is nice to check from time to time and see this on my transcript:

Well.. 6 extra FEMA credits isn't that bad. It's easy to get carried away with them. I did 38 FEMA credits... planning ahead for my BS in Homeland Security at TESC. I just realized the other day it was stupid, since I'll only need 25. Not to mention the fact they are always changing which one's are accepted... so they may or may not transfer by the time I enroll. But at least they are easy and free.

I'm actually pretty close to finishing the PDS. COSC only accepted 6 credits, but I've completed nearly 20 of the courses (some of the credits required combining courses to receive credit).
This was an angle I hadn't thought about before. Maybe I'll finish the last couple of courses in the series, and put this on my resume.

Well in your case, if you have 38, then the chances are good that at least 25 of them will still be accepted when you're ready to begin at TESC.
