He seems to already have a lot of high school credit so you could graduate him early when you're ready, and apply and enroll at Excelsior.

Where did you find that? I don't remember seeing it before! Do you know of others for other degrees?

That said, it is from 2018. I think that there have been some changes since then, but not entirely sure about that.

It says revised March 2021 on it. I found 6 different ones under transfer guides: https://www.excelsior.edu/partner/study-com/

I know for a fact these some of these are outdated.  But some are good.  Not sure why the IT one is there, it has nothing to do with Study.com.

The IT one says that you can earn 68 credits from Study.com.

Can you clarify which classes are wrong on the business degree plan? I would like to take them all on Study.com

For the business one, you can actually take all except 10cr from Study.com. You just need Info Lit, Cornerstone, Capstone, and the Quantitative Analysis UExcel exam; Business Comm and Prin of Finance are both available at Study.com

Here's their note at the top of page 2: *All credits with the exception of the Cornerstone, Information Literacy, and Capstone may be transferred from other institutions. Exams noted are recommendations only (approval by Academic Advisor is required).

Excelsior is pretty affordable for a liberal studies degree but isn't as easy to figure out (as you've discovered) for a business degree. TESU is more expensive than either, but they have computer science and an actual BSBA CIS degree.

Your kid wouldn't be able to enroll for another 2 years at TESU, but could potentially enroll immediately for Excelsior.

Hi. New here. Got to ask, when you say COSC has gotten more restrictive, what does that mean? Are they still accepting CLEP? What about sophia.com?

They now require 30cr from an RA school (so the cornerstone and capstone there, plus 24cr additional); they stopped taking NCCRS credits; and they severely restricted which course providers they accept (so limited to AP, CLEP, DSST, Study.com, Sophia, SL, Saylor, and CSM Learn).

COSC also may not accept TEL Learning courses if they realize that they're TEL. Aside from dual-enrollment, TEL is the cheapest way for HS students to rack up RA credits. A lot of downsides and not many upsides when it comes to COSC.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

The major upside is going to be price, of course.  If you can easily jump through their hoops, their pricing can't be beat (especially if you don't want to do a competency-based degree from UMPI).  They are still the cheapest of the Big 3, although I would probably pay the extra costs (less than $1000) for a degree at EC for ease of completion.
