ChatGPT is encouraged by MANY MANY professors as a tool. look it up.
An example: "As an advocate for technology and ongoing learning, I have encouraged students enrolled in my courses to use ChatGPT as one of their resources for a semester-long project. For example, they use ChatGPT to generate scenarios included in case studies designed for employee training programs. They also use ChatGPT to recommend training techniques that work best for specific generations."

From the student handbook: "AI-ASSISTED WRITING TECHNOLOGIES You must complete these assignments on your own and without the help of ChatGPT or other generative AI software, unless stated otherwise in the brief for the assignment. If you submit AI generated text as your own, it will be considered a violation of academic integrity, and you will not be given credit for the assignment."
You'd have to reach out to the professors or the dean to clarify if you could use AI in the way that you described. The ambiguity of your intentions, your citation of "MANY MANY professors," your expectation that everyone else should "look it up" instead of proving your point, and refusing to engage in discussions are, however, causes for concern. I hope those habits stay in web forums where people are trying their best to help you out, and don't sneak into the attitude with which you approach your studies.

Many colleges have policies on using AI in your writing. I have never seen any policy state use it as much as you want. There's also numerous restrictions on it.
If one can't write then they're going to struggle in life. If you can't write how can you crate and develop your own thoughts? How do you learn to dig deeper into a topic on your own? The use of AI could become problematic in the way that cursive is now a problem because so many in younger generations weren't taught it so they can't read or write it.

Hi everyone,
I just started my MBA at Hellenic American University (HAU) this June and wanted to share a bit about my experience so far—for anyone considering the program or just curious how it compares to other options out there.
Background:
I graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) with both my BA and MA in Organizational Leadership. I was looking to keep the momentum going without breaking the bank, and HAU stood out because of the value. The total cost—$3,000 for a regionally accredited MBA—is hard to beat.
Affordability & Accreditation:
Let’s be clear—this is not a flashy, brand-name program. You won’t see it ranked on major MBA lists, and if you’re aiming for executive roles at Fortune 500 companies, especially those that require AACSB or ACBSP-accredited degrees, this likely won’t be the right tool for that ladder. But if you’re a working professional looking to deepen your business acumen, enhance your credentials, or pivot your career, this is a solid, affordable route. Worth noting: HAU is accredited by NECHE—the same regional accreditor that oversees schools like Harvard and MIT. So yes, it's legitimate.
Academic Experience So Far:
I'm taking BUS511 – The Business Landscape right now, and the coursework is on par with other graduate-level classes I've taken. Professors are responsive, and the small class sizes are a bonus. I’ve also registered for BUS526 – Marketing Management in the next term.
Course Waiver Process:
I submitted a waiver request for BUS501 – Functional Skills Integration based on a similar grad course I completed at UMPI (OLS540 – Organizational Theory and Behavior). The process is manual and takes time—so if you plan to request waivers, get ahead of it early. That said, they seem open to recognizing relevant prior coursework.
Administrative Side:
This is where you’ll notice it’s a smaller operation. Things like registration, waiver processing, or syllabus access can be slow. Communication sometimes takes a follow-up or two. But once you get in touch with the right people (Dean Martin has been especially helpful), they are supportive and committed to your success. Just don’t expect a slick student portal or a polished onboarding system.
Overall Impressions:
Yes, you’ll probably get a few “What school is that?” reactions when you list it on your résumé or LinkedIn. But that doesn’t mean the learning isn’t worthwhile. You get out what you put in. I’m already seeing connections between the coursework and my day-to-day in the professional world.
Happy to answer any questions or compare notes with other students currently in the program. And if you're on the fence—feel free to reach out!
Take care!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a quick note about Hellenic American University’s policy regarding the use of AI-assisted writing tools like ChatGPT. This came up recently in another thread, and I reached out to confirm where things stand. According to the Student Handbook (2024–2025):
Quote:“You must complete these assignments on your own and without the help of ChatGPT or other generative AI software, unless stated otherwise in the brief for the assignment. If you submit AI generated text as your own, it will be considered a violation of academic integrity, and you will not be given credit for the assignment.”

Are those "extra" courses associated with a major part of the $3000 tuition scholarship (if still available when/if I'm ready to apply), or do they need to be paid for separately?
And is there any difference between the regular online mba and the rolling cohort online MBA? I have not seen this answered elsewhere, so I'll chime in. Per Dean Martin, " For certificates, the cost is the catalog price which is $1400 per course... They would count toward the certificate leaving only two additional courses to equal the 4 required for all certificates."
So any courses which fall outside of the normal block of MBA courses are an additional fee per course.

$1400/course is a bit expensive when the entire Masters is just $3K... If they have the entire set of classes in the cert for $1400, that'll be a pretty good deal.

I understood that there is no proctoring but HAU's website suggests otherwise; "Mercer and Mettl Digital Proctoring system, for secure, online assessment". https://www.hauniv.edu/academics/online-learning
Does anyone know if HAU MBA classes are proctored?

When I took the MBA, none of the classes nor exams were proctored, but a couple had live sessions with minor examinations for parts of the course, mainly in communications and stats.
