MSC TESU BALS
#11
  • I've moved the COM-300 Business Communication to LL since I read a thread in which someone stated that it got downgraded to COM-200.
  • EDU-299 Special Topics in Education isn't in the ACE course registry, but it's in my Free Electives so I can easily fill it with something else.
  • Based on the responses to my questions, I'll need to apply before I get some actual answers.

Question #1 to TESU (directed to academicadvising@tesu.edu)
Would credits from these sources be accepted by Thomas Edison State University, and what would they come in as?

ACTFL
  • OPI Dutch
  • WPT Dutch
  • Would the LL credits come in as 100 or 200 level credits?
(I know that dfrecore believes that the LL credits come in as 200 ones.)
CSU-Global
  • COM315EX Intercultural Communication
  • SOC310EX Race, Gender, and Ethnic Relations in the U.S.
Response
Let me save you some time by saying that I didn't get an answer and got a standard response instead.
Thank you for the email. Are you an admitted student at TESU? I cannot find you in our system--if you are a student please reply to this email with your TESU ID#. If you are not (yet) a student at TESU then you would want to direct these questions about transfer courses to the Admissions office - 609-777-5680 or admissions@tesu.edu. Thank you.

As a member of the Office of Academic Advising, I look forward to working closely with you in order to ensure your continued success. Should you need additional support, inquiries may be sent via email to academicadvising@tesu.edu (please note your degree program in the subject line). In addition to this service, I encourage you to schedule an advising appointment. During these personalized meetings, you will receive comprehensive counseling which will enrich your academic experience.
