Masters/MBA - Degree Planning Advice
#1
Hello, I'm less than an hour member.

I would like to ask question regarding ENEB MBA versus HULT MBA, which one would you best recommend?

Honestly, I'm considering ENEB because of dual degree which would be an advantage.
My end goal is to gather enough higher education degree to further strengthen my capacity to teach higher education institution in my home country.

Do you think ENEB (Universidad Isabel I) would be recognized equivalent to master degree in Philippines? Do we submit ENEB or Universidad Isabel I?

Can I use the degree to further study?

I'm planning to pursue my PhD from California Coast University.
Currently, I'm pursuing to UoPeople BSBA.

Welcome to the board, it's great you're asking questions and providing bits/pieces of info. Having said that, it's best to fill in the addendum and template for readers to get the full overview of your scenario. Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

To answer your questions, even if you get all the Masters programs from ENEB, HULT will be recommended. Why? You're comparing a $80-90K Tripled Accredited program to a non accredited one.  It's like saying, which one is better, a Nissan Ariya 2023 EV or a Hot Wheels RC car?  A $180-$500 can't compare at all to a $80+K program ever.  For reference: HULT MBA, https://www.hult.edu/mba/admissions/fees/

ENEB may be equivalent to MBA/Masters if you complete two-three or even four programs from them, as long as you've got the UC1 diploma.  ENEB alone won't make the cut, I would skip on the Hague Apostille though and also the exam option, make sure to do the classic version where you write assignments and have different grades.  These will come in as grad certs/diplomas if not Masters.

Please review the ENEB WIKI, I have it on my signature, some individuals have gone into higher education and teaching.  It really depends on how each country evaluates this, either favorable or non-favorable.  You want to do all the work and make sure it comes properly evaluated, even if it doesn't come in as a Masters, you should have graduate credit to transfer into another program if needed.

I can't speak specifically for the Philippines, but my general experience with ENEB in Asia, with the exception of China, is that it is reviewed quite favorably compared to the West. The caveat is you need the Isabel I diploma to ensure it is "from a university".

Between your choices there is not doubt HULT is better as long as you have all the financial parts sorted out.

The main difference is accreditation, not necessarily price. An official master's degree offered by a public university in Spain can cost as little as 800 euros. I've heard of in-person programs in France that costs less than 300 euros; tuition in Scandinavian countries might even be free. It is the institutional accreditation that matters here.

I'm thinking it'll be fine as well... UoPeople BSBA is RA, ENEB should be evaluated as a final year of the Bachelors or as a Graduate Certificate, the PhD from Cal Coast is DEAC/NA though. It may be evaluated differently due to being NA, but should still be recognized since USDOE does recognize it properly anyways...
