Searching for two 3-credit undergraduate political science courses with upper-division 300/3000 or 400/4000 level that can be completed online or through independent study, from a regionally accredited school for transfer. Low cost is good, and prefer not to fully matriculate if possible. My son's college has cut their offerings back significantly this year and needs two more UL POLS to graduate. Thank you.

UMPI non-degree? They have several political science classes from which 2-3 classes (6-9 credits) could be done in one term for $1,800. Works out to about $300/credit for 2 classes.
Options:
https://catalog.umpi.edu/content.php?cat...navoid=317
POS 301 - European Governments and the European Union
POS 332 - Constitutional Law
POS 335 - Modern Political Thought
POS 343 - Marxism
POS 370 - Topics in Non-Western History Topic One Option: Native American History- This competency explores the relationship between Native American groups and colonial powers and the US Government. It introduces students to the fact that there is not one Native American culture but multiple cultures and that each culture had its own unique relationship with the US Government. It then examines the impact of US Government policy on Native American cultures and their sovereignty as independent nations within a larger nation.
POS 370 - Topics in Non-Western History Topic Two Option: Arab-Israeli Conflict- This competency investigates historical and current interaction and integration of people, economies, and governments of different nations and the effects on the environment, culture, politics, and economics. In this competency, you will examine the Arab-Israeli Conflict, which is a specialized field in non-Western history.
POS 371 - International Relations and Modern Conflicts
POS 377 - Modern China
POS 439 - The Vietnam Wars
Completed: HAU MBA | BA Economics (US)

Interesting, you may want to see if you can finish the requirements of the History/Political Science degree and not graduate. So, what I mean is that, your son can complete the classes that can transfer to the receiving institution, graduate from that institution. Then come back to UMPI to finish off any requirements (language, science lab, etc) general education, electives, all through transfer credit, and get a second degree without paying any further sessions.

Did you go through with the UMPI recommendation to get the extra credits required for graduation? I recommended to do more classes if needed so you can graduate with a UMPI degree afterwards, it's like getting a second degree free of charge as you've paid the first session and if you've done 10 residency courses, you're good to go.
