My advisor said that aleks intro and business statistics would duplicate. She was wrong. Once the registrar added my ace transcript to my tesc transcript I now have aleks business stats as an upper level business elective OPM-351.
This is good news for most people but since she told me this was not the case took another business elective, intro to business. It's a loss of one hundred dollars and no time since I didnt have to study for it but still aggravating.
Another revelation was that the Comp TIA Network plus certification is only applicable to business electives not CIS electives like I had hoped.
Also, don't bother taking Penn foster structured design since it is only good for one credit. Systems analysis is good for two and fulfills the analysis and design core by itself.
My advisor said the networking tecep CMP354 is going to fill in my remaining cis elective. If it doesn't then that's three hundred down the drain so let's hope she is right this time.
This should be my last test.

It's because you are in the BSBA program. In that track ONLY, you get non-duplicating credit for the business core. Any and every other student will get them both as STA201 and it will be a duplicate.

Jennifer I told my advisor that specifically because I saw that on here and she said no that's not true. Now I know that it is. Take what the advisors say with a grain of salt since the registrars office seems to have the final word in these matters.
If I had known what I know now I would have taken the networking tecep months ago and would be done now. Oh well
