That's a good point about getting the AALS under YourPace even though it's not technically offered BY YourPace!
If you're comfortable with writing papers in English, UMPI is a good option. Especially since you can get a whole Bachelor's degree so cheaply.

If this person has the legal paperwork for education purposes and a social sec # , is there a reason the Pierpont BOG AAS isn't okay to get ? Seems the employer would be satisfied with an AAS and be done ?

My suggestion is to do this: Apply to UMPI for a Bachelors, add AALS as a second program, complete 60-90 credits using Sophia.org, 1 term of UMPI at $1400. Total, it will cost you will be under $1500 for that Associates... just make sure your UMPI courses "finish" the associates degree and you have it on a transcript showing you ALL 60+ credits! Further to that, if you want to finish the Bachelors, you just need one more term at $1400...
I would assume that as usual it is recommended to complete the Sophia credits before applying to UMPI - as this avoids having to get permission to bring outside credits in once you've been accepted. So in short to the OP, start with Sophia - here is the wiki page for what the courses come in as at UMPI (and other schools we talk about here) - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/So...lency_List
Also, with the update from the OP of being in the US with a SS# wouldn't they now again have the Pierpont BOG ASS back as an option (likely the lowest cost of all)?

Pierpont BOG AAS is for citizens and permanent residents, I asked for a few people who were asking me about this previously... I emailed the director (the only person who deals with the POG AAS it seems, Nancy) and she said no. So, UMPI maybe cheaper, easier, faster than COSC.

Ironically I just read the thread about someone getting the BOG AAS from WVU. They may have slightly different requirements since it's a different school and a 4 yr U. No ? UMPI would still be cheaper ? I think the thread OP said they had to have 12 credits in WV or are RA ? Just thinking....

For that other school, you need to have 12 RA credits, 3 from the school itself. 9 credits would cost $475 (1 credit from ASU + 9 credits from ONU). + about $1k for the 3 credits at the school. You're looking at more than $1400 right there. Even if it is possible, it wouldn't necessarily be any cheaper or easier than either UMPI or PUG.

At least UMPI wouldn't be too lengthy if they blow through some Sophia courses.

First, I'd get as many credits as possible via ACTFL - what language(s) do you speak other than English? Conceivably you could get a TON of credits in just a day or 2 doing it this way (depends on how many other languages you're fluent in).
Then, you can either enroll at TESU to get max credits applied (they will give you the most that I'm aware of for ACTFL exams), or else go to UMPI to get the remaining credits.
