I need help digging here. I'm looking for the ACE Evaluation for CLEP and AP. They are not in the database, but they've been evaluated, it's what colleges use ("50 is passing...") but WHERE is it? Anyone with suggestions?
Backstory: TESC, in my opinion, is making an error indicating that ACE says AP English Literature and AP English Comp duplicate. Clearly they don't, but this is hard to prove without the real ACE evaluation. I can't say if it's an advisor that is getting it wrong, or if TESC made an error when they looked it up or coded it or whatever, but I'd like to help them with their misunderstanding. :roflol:
P.S. I've inquired at College Board but haven't heard back.

You made me curious. After reading the descriptions, and beside the fact that they are two distinct and separate examinations, it seems that the literature version is similar to CLEP A&I Literature and the other exam is similar to the CLEP College Comp, which again are two distinct exams.
CLEPS Passed: 10 DSST Passed: 11 TECEPS: 1

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

I agree. There is another thread where we are looking at this better. Here's the kicker- the ACE eval descriptions are NOT what are on the College Board site. It's VERY different. If you look up the AP exam over there, it's closer to the CLEP English Lit and their own descriptions say they are 2 different classes with 2 different outcomes. Something doesn't mesh, it may fall out that these duplicate because of ACE's eval, but I'm shocked frankly, that College Board is okay with the evaluation.
