For the Excelsior BS IT (General Option concentration), it says for my concentration requirements, I need 'Approved IT Electives'.
Can someone give me some ideas as to what courses or exams might be considered an Approved IT Elective? Would the DSST Intro to Computing or CLEP Information Systems be suitable? How about a Digital Image Manipulation course from another college?
I would really appreciate if someone can lists some cheap/easy exams or courses to fulfill the Approved IT Electives. Thanks!

Intro to computing: doubt it
Information Systems: maybe
You might also be able to get away with DSST Management Information Systems

Certifications, certifications and more certifications! This is the best part, your basic IT certs (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) will give you credits. I got rid of all of my IT electives through certs. Get the degree and have the certs and you'll have a pretty easy time getting at least an entry level position, and EC lets you use those certs as electives so it's a double value!
