Correct me if I'm wrong: There is an initial assessment and if I get 70% of it correct, I can apply for a review and have it sent to ACE for credit. Right? If I don't have the required knowledge after the initial assessment, the whole ALEKS learning process begins until I've completed my pie up to around 70%. Correct? Just trying to clarify all of the info I've gathered. Thanks

I don't have so much experience, FinancialWorld, but yes you sound right. The initial assessment is where you wanna shine, if you pass that you should be able to get the credit directly. Otherwise you'd be taking a long time (i did a trial on one course and it took quite a while to go through, i did about 9 hours and was like halfway there). Like everyone on here said, if you're a whiz already, or you want to actually learn, do ALEKS...if you're just looking to fulfill a couple math credits and you don't have the background or inclination to learn, don't do it.
