Need some final critiques before applying!

I've seen ""ENG-306 Inter. Tech Wrtg. & Prof. Wt." as my Informational Literacy GE requirement", but none stating that it has been accepted as a valid replacement for "ENG-201: Technical Writing" (the new allowable for the second 3 credits of Written Communications)

The last one I saw was a recent post, I just can't remember which thread it was in or who the poster was. Your concern is appreciated. I tried to get validation from TESU before I saw that post I mentioned but they responded with the old, "Come enroll and then we'll talk about it," -type answer. In the worst case, I'll just start it and let it hang for a few days to see what happens with TESU.

Edit: Okay. Application is submitted and paid for. Here we go!

Edit Again: Transcripts ordered.

If it has not and you do end up taking a math through study.com. you may want to consider taking the Comp II though them as well (since the membership includes is two exams per month already)

I've seen a few posts around here (don't have the links off the top of my head, sorry!) that were fairly recent where Professional Writing transferred in as ENG-306 - Technical Writing. It was used in some cases used for Written Communication and in some cases Information Literacy, depending on what the student needed.

All the most recent postings I can find on the say they "plan" to use it; but I cannot find one example of someone who has actually transferred it in to meet the requirement.  I know based on the new catalog many here think it should; I'm even one of them.  I'm just concerned that you're so close to be being done that I would hate to have it not and miss out on the opportunity to finish something that you know will - especially for free (included in the current study.com month).

Technical Writing USED to meet the Info Lit requirement, but it got changed fairly recently, to the Written Comm section.  So, I think you should send it in and see what happens (and report back here).  We need a guinea pig on this one.

Congrats on being SO close to the end.

Thank you! You've helped me a TON since I first registered here back in November.  Do you happen to know the difference between the Capstone Guided Study vs. the Online option?

I did GS and wish I'd done online, only because the GS discussion questions were VERY detailed - almost as if you are doing another Case Study.  I ended up getting 100% on all of the case studies, but only 85% on most of the discussions - which is weird, because it's a MUCH smaller percentage of your grades, so why make them so dang complicated.  I have heard mixed reviews of the online discussion portion of the course, as to how hard the instructor grades them.  Some people have said it was difficult, others said it was easy.  All I can tell you is that I worked as hard for the discussion questions that only counted for 10% of my grade as I did for the Case Studies which counted for 35% of it.

Interesting. Well, I guess I'll be taking the online version then. Cool I have four instructors to choose from: Hansen, Otto, Argen and Brown. Anyone have experience with any of these people?
