How is it in your opinion? I was eyeing it up.

Nice. Amberton has some cool degree options. Just not sure how I feel about a Christian university

Do you mean moral wise or it being in the curriculum?

Amberton doesn't make you take classes with a Christian component or focus (if I recall correctly). Other institutions such as Liberty have a couple of classes with a Christian component or focus, I believe, for both undergrad and grad studies.
Regarding the classes, seems pretty standard, these are the Requirements Hours
I. Required Graduate Studies 6 hours
RGS6035 – Theory and Application of Research Methods 3 hours
RGS6036 – Ethics for Decision Making 3 hours
II. Major Requirements (5000/6000 levels) 18 hours
MGT5710 Applied AI for Business 3 hours
MGT5765 Artificial Intelligence Essentials 3 hours
MGT5790 AI Driven Innovation and Strategy 3 hours
MGT Applied Business Analytics 3 hours
MGT6785 Applied Predictive Analytics 3 hours
COM Leadership Communication 3 hours
III. Electives (5000/6000 level) 12 hours
Student selected from available 5000/6000 level courses 12 hours
Total 36 hours

If you’ve exhausted other options and you’re a devout Christian who values both your faith and being accepting of others, I’d suggest looking into religious colleges that don’t discriminate against LGBTQ+. Amberton does not include LGBTQ+ students or employees in its anti-discrimination policies. Degrees from more inclusive Christian/ religious institutions also tend to carry broader acceptance/ recognition from employers and the public.
One example I found is Grand Canyon University - they have an online MS in AI and are an inclusive Christian university
BA, New England College, 2019
MA, California State University, LA - Starting Fall 2025

Many colleges and universities have a religious affiliation and then there isn't religion in their courses. Amberton doesn't have any religion in the courses except for 1 section of ethics and there is a non-religion section of ethics and the degrees in Christian counseling. Discrimination and harassment against anyone at Amberton - students, staff, professors, etc. is a violation of their policies.

GCU is a for profit university with considerably higher tuition than Amberton. GCU has had several controversies to navigate as well.
