mcorye91 Wrote:Yes! Right after I wrote that I remembered your degree plan. It seems tough though I don't think I could complete it in 1.5-2 years like Excelsiors natural science :/ if it will take more than 2 years it will be a waste as I could complete Excelsiors LPN-bsn program in 2.5,3 years rather than take 3 years for a Bio degree> accelerated bsn program> crna program. I considered completely testing out of General management degree because I see people have done it in 6 months but I'm so afraid I won't be accepted into an accelerated bsn program with a degree like that :/. Even if I could take some classes for a gpa the degree bores me I may not do well
For now I guess I will aim for the natural science degree..
TESC's natural science and mathematics degree can be completed more quickly.

The word math is more scary to me than organic chemistry. I'm already dreading the Precalcu requirement. Besides how much more quickly? If not by a lot, I might as well do the Bio. I think I may suck it up and do the BA Bio. It will be tough but I have the time with my job to study like a maniac. I Do need help, If you Don't Mind With some Of TESCs requirements like
"Electives in Intellectual and Practical Skills"(6)
"Diversity/ Global Literacy"(3)
"Responsible Ethical Leadership"(3)
"Other Ethics or Diversity Course"(3)
How am I suppose to find courses(preferebly test out courses) in these categories or equivalent?
Also The 18 UL credit requirement can be a mixture of all the courses in the entire section II (A-C), correct?. Does the capstone count as 3 UL creds?
And then III. 27 free electives? How can I find out what is accepted for this category?
Does anal&int lit or principles of management fit anywhere in the degree? I already bought these cleps and planned on testing on the 26th and 29th! I have until today 1/12 to schedule in order to test on those dates.
Its 230 am and I'm trying to figure these out haha

You only need college-level math for the natural science and mathematics degree. Your area of study doesn't have to include math courses; it's a flexible degree. You might have to take an upper level course or two in addition to the capstone.

Hi again. You are so helpful ^_^. I saw you listed TECEP Marketing Communications in the "Electives and the Physical Natural World" I'm wondering if the Principles of Marketing CLEP would also be okay? You don't have it listed
I think tomorrow I will call up TESC and pay for an evaluation haha. Does that make sense if I have no college credits yet? I don't want to make a plan and take something I didn't need to or miss something you know?
I am not sure of my options for the 27 free electives but I am going to search in the forum now. Thanks for all of your help !

Your plan includes a Bio II and Chem II clep but I can't find anything on such cleps existing. Is it possible that only 1 clep has to be done for each and 2 labs each?

Marketing Communications is humanities because it's a communications course. Principles of Marketing is just a marketing course that counts as business.

I did not list a bio II and chem II CLEP. Those two CLEPs are worth 6 credits, so they will cover the lecture portion of I and II. The labs would have to be taken separately, or you can find 4-credit courses that include the lecture and lab together at a college. Straighterline only offers the lecture and lab for bio I and chem I.
