Hi All,
I applied and I'm in the process of registering for the A&P I class with lab and the only way I can register for the class is to take General Biology with it. I applied as a non-degree seeking student (not sure if this matters).
If you have taken the A&P I at this college, did you have to take the pre-req first (General Biology) or with this A&P I? I've take Biology at a 4 year college, will I have to show this in order to not have to take General Biology.
Thanks!

I took both courses there, but one after the other. Contact the registrar's office or the admissions office and explain the situation, they or an adviser should be able to override the problem for you.

I just wanted to tell everyone that I ended up being able to take just the A&P I at New Mexico Junior College without the General Biology (I did take Biology at a University in CA though). I was transferred all over the place to get it worked out since I was registered for both General Biology and A&P I and I missed the withdrawal date... they went ahead and withdrew me and they are awesome to work with! Honestly, I never had so many nice people helping me with just ONE class and making sure things worked out for me!!!
If you are looking for classes to take, NMJC is wonderful to work with!

Will you give me a little insight into the class (A&P I)... how was it?
Thanks!
