Online, Self-Paced Database Management Course for Transfer into WGU?

I've been looking for the past few hours and decided to come here after finding very little.

I really, really don't want to take Database Management at WGU because of the negative things I've heard thus far, so I was exploring my options. I know CSU Global has a CBE for DB Management, but there is little to no information about it online (no domains or topics tested on & no information about the passing score or the knowledge required).

Are there any actual course options online that I could reasonably finish within a month and don't cost more than $500?

They do accept a CIW, MS SQL, or IBM cert - so that is a pathway. Just have to crunch a bit.

You can't, but I'm still in limbo. My eval is done, but my admissions decision and payment still need to be made. If I am willing to put enrollment off another month and pick up a DB cert by some black magic, I can be reevaluated later and start 9/1 instead of 8/1

The information on the CBE is included in the online course they put you in for free once you ask to be enrolled. CSU Global gives you most of the study materials. However, WGU may not accept the CBE since CSU Global will list it as a transfer course rather than an in-residence course.
