Onlinedegree.com DEAD as of 1/29/25

Tried to login to work on course today, and the wording on the website is as follows:
We’re sorry but as of January 29, 2025, OnlineDegree.com is no longer offering its free courses.
We began on a mission to make college more affordable, and to keep our courses free… however, the costs associated with providing this to people have become too great. We made the difficult decision to close the doors.
If you’re an existing student, and would like to request we send a transcript to your university, please send an email to support@onlinedegree.com with your login email, the school, and their address.

Bummer. Wish there had been a heads up. I was almost done with Principles of Marketing and would have rushed it had I known. Oh well. Now I get to take the CLEP :/ But that was my original plan anyway.

Ouch, another one bites the dust... There have been a few ACE/NCCRS providers going bust as they can't sustain the cheap or freebie classes in this case. My NCCRS recommendations now have dropped from 5 to 4, the remaining ones are Coopersmith, Davar, Lawshelf and Genesis University (which also holds NA through DEAC, which means you can transfer to Excelsior or TESU)

Has anyone had success in getting their transcripts sent by contacting the email address onlinedegree provided? I asked them to send a transcript to TESU and a copy to myself right when they closed and have received no response, and TESU has not received the transcript.

I followed up with another email today.

The credits won't make or break my degree, but would help with adding a "freebie" AA and/or certificate to my BA.

My son sent his, but was told they were no longer valid, by about a week. YMMV.

I'm confused why they would no longer be valid since they were approved by nccrs at the time taken.

I did have someone at online degree reach out to me today. They said they needed a copy of my state issued ID before they could send out the transcript, which makes me a little woozy, but could conceivably be a valid request since the exams I took were not proctored and so maybe they need to confirm my ID some way? Idk. Might not be worth it, and definitely not if tesu want to put the credits on my transcript

Hey I was able to get this done. I requested a transcript on January 22, 2025 and TESU got it on February 3, 2025. I did have to email them a couple of times to make sure they were able to get it done. 

Heres my NCCRS transcript evaluation from TESU in February 2025. I'm not sure why TESU would reject OnlineDegree.com credits. It lost is NCCRS in December 2024. All OnlineDegree.com courses done between February 2018 and December 2024 should still be accepted.
