Hi I just signed up for this class and don't get how the webinars work.

I only need to attend three of them but they have a bunch of webinars listed for this class that I can sign up for. I'm assuming that I just need to show up to any three? I don't get how this will work if I just randomly show up to three different webinars. It doesn't make sense. How can the entire class show up to different webinars at different points throughout the class? How will the instructor deal with this? Is this a one-on-one or is the entire class attending this webinar?

I'm stationed in Japan and the book may take 3 weeks to get to me which makes me a bit uneasy since the class is already beginning. Do I need the book to do the webinars?

I am new to this. Someone please, break out the crayons and explain this to me. Domo Arigato!

When I took this last summer I was concerned about the webinars but they were super easy. Yeah, I just needed to show up to any 3. There is a way to signup for the ones you want to attend ahead of time. When I took it the description made it sound like it was interaction with the class but the reality was that students couldn't see or talk to each other so really you could only talk to the teacher.

The first one she sent a message to everyone thanking them for joining the class and that was pretty much it. Over in five minutes.
The second got canceled the day before so everyone got credit even though it was canceled.
The third one I had to talk to the teacher about some topic, she told me to prepare ahead of time, but it was like a 3 min conversation and then done.
Seriously this call and these webinars were really really easy, at least as of last summer.
