Pricing Error: LRN Level 7 Diploma in Business Management
Just checking out some LRN Level 7 Diplomas for possible transfer into the Cardiff Metropolitian MBA Top Up or another Top Up and came across a pricing error! This college has two divisions (more actually), one targeting the UK and the other a global target.
Anyways, if you go to their UK site and purchase the LRN Level 7 in Business Management, it's $1500 British Pounds which is an above average deal, it's on the cheaper end of things, the cheapest I've seen was around or pretty close to 1K BP...
Their error is a steal of a deal! It's at 99BP, that's amazingly cheap for a LRN Level 7 Diploma! You can ladder to the Cardiff and finish with 3280BP or Northampton Executive MBA for 3699BP in total!

They have several Level 7 offerings that are inexpensive on the US site, so, not sure if it's a discount, sale or a price error now...
Note: Level 7 in the UK is graduate level study (Post Graduate/Masters Level), you still need a "top up" to make it an official Masters. BTW, OMG right! There are so many OXFORD institutions out there, from elementary, secondary, academy, colleges, institutes, univ...

How are the courses structured? Is it testing or writing a bunch of assignments?

No, I wish though... It's a LRN recognized diploma, they're authorized by OfQual to grant awards, certificates, and diplomas.

No exams, these are assignment/written based credentials, self paced. It preps you for Masters work as they ladder to a Masters degree "Top Up".

OfQual is a register of organizations (regulated programs) - I think of them as the CHEA or USDOE
LRN is an organization that accredits, recognizes, overseas institutions - I think of them as DEAC or TRACS
Oxford College is the institution - I think of them as Ashworth or Penn Foster, etc...

NO and YES - The UK education system is basically split into several educational framework systems dependent on area/location.
I think of them as, "regional accreditation" in different parts of the UK. It only gets confusing when you put "levels" on them.
NO, they are not LRN as they're not under OfQual - YES, they're under the SCQF Level 11 which is the same as Level 7.
What is SCQF Level 11 in regards to equivalency for the OfQual NQF Level 7? They're the same equivalent, see this example.

Shame I can't get them to review my ENEB credits and waive all but one class. It would be easy money for them, I'd pay $99 for the credits and they'd only have to grade one paper, then I could go into a university to get the top-up.

Very interesting how many credits will come from the level 7 diploma? I may consider doing the executive MBA at Northampton in the future and might buy the course as I'm finishing a regular MBA degree up at Hellenic American University. Does the diploma program have a time limit on when you have to start?
