Passed M&B! Next up to bat.. Prin. of Finance
#1
I passed Money and Banking Dsst this morning with a 53! (48 to pass) This test was definitely a bit harder than i expected, but i am stoked i passed and got it out of the way!

I studied for about a week with the following resources;

IC Flashcards
Specific feedback attachments and study guides --- Priceless Information
Khan academy videos on Banking on youtube
$5 Dsst practice test

Up next is Principles of Finance.. Which I've kinda saved for last due to all the scary feedback on its difficulty.
I hope to knock this out in another week. I've read through Specific Feedback but who knows what someone might advise that isn't on there.

If anyone has any recommendations/tips/advice for this Dsst Principles of Finance, please share!

I'm coming down to about 9 more courses left for my BSBA! Smile) It's crazy to think that last October i was looking at my list of 20+ that needed to be done. After these last few Dsst's its off to SL, ALEKS, and TECEP!

Thanks for all the help and motivation you all continue to post!

Way to go! Seriously? You only studied for a week? Were you able to do that because of previous tests, courses, your job, etc., or was it the sort of thing that a concentrated week of studying could accomplish?

I feel the previous tests i took (Micro, Macro, Financial Accounting) all helped a tiny bit. Out of the 94 questions on M&B test, about 5 were material i learned from previous tests. Which isn't much, but it's 5 questions i was that much more prepared for.
What really helped me accomplish this was not only a week of concentrated studying, but more importantly, the right study material. This is where the specific feedback forum comes in, it really helped me pick out study material that was the best for the test.

I was not super confident going into the test and even less confident while taking the test, because i knew the exam difficulty and I had not studied as much as i planned to during that week due to work being busier than expected. But, with the right feedback, study material (videos/study guides), and practice test, i was confident in taking that leap of faith after one week, which definitely payed off.

Im in my early early 20's and work in the emergency medical field, which shows I have very minimal life/work experience in the business, finance, accounting fields.
