I enrolled at Thomas Edison at the very end of Dec. 2010. I was planning to finish all my classes, CLEPs, etc. by the end of Sept. so I can turn in the Request for Graduation form by Oct. 1st to graduate in Dec. I had to drop a few classes and restart them and now I'm going to have to scramble if I want to make that Oct. deadline. Then I started wondering if I really have to meet that deadline. Do you have to actually graduate before your yearly enrollment fees run out, or do you just have to apply for graduation before then? Could I take until Dec. to finish up my classes and then apply for graduation before the Jan. 1st deadline (and before my enrollment fees run out at the end of Dec.)? Then I would graduate in March.

If you call the registrar's office and ask them about this, you'll get the best answer. For me, my enrollment ended in August, but the enrollment includes a 1 month "grace" period when you can still be taking your last semester. If you need longer than this, it is $200 per additional month. If you go beyond 3 more months, then you have to pay for another full year.
Also, you should search the TESC student form...there might be a more specific answer there. If not, maybe you could try posting there?
Good luck!

Do, or do not. There is NO try.
I can do anything I set my mind to doing.
