Your best bets for cheap upper level credits are with Davar, LawShelf, Saylor.org and for lower level you should use mainly Sophia.org, my recommendation is to get as much credits as possible with Sophia.org and then transfer to Excelsior. You can get an evaluation, if you're missing a Math, you can take the CSM Learn. You should invest in a second monitor for multi-tasking...

There's also 20% off tuition at Excelsior after completing at least two Sophia courses: https://www.excelsior.edu/partner/sophia/
Or the CSM Course that bjcheung77 mentioned: https://www.smilabs.org/products/collegecredit

I think I read something about Excelsior charging 1000$/term for people who transfer in 113 credits is that correct? Would it be not better for me to wait with enrolling until I'm done with all/most of my transfers?

Too bad those discounts don't add up since I'll have to take some Study.com courses too maybe

adding info on that Sophia/Excelsior discount:
Tuition per credit reverts to the non-partner rate if the student does not complete a minimum of twelve (12) Excelsior College online course credits.

For EC, here are some things to keep in mind:
1) the $1095 enrollment fee is long gone, so no need to worry about that
2) you should enroll now to lock in your catalog because then a) the requirements of the degree won't change, and b) any courses you transfer in will also be locked in
3) the 20% discount only kicks in when you take 12+ credits through them. If you're planning on taking the 7cr minimum, then disregard that discount; OTOH, it does kick in as far as giving you a free application
4) I think you can send your credits in as you go, they have unlimited evals as far as I know. So getting all of your credits on an eval is key to making your life easier
5) if you're going to get a BSL, then you'll need 21cr of UL in the A&S, and 9cr UL can be in the Free electives; generally speaking, there aren't any UL A&S courses at Saylor, Sophia, or Davar. Coopersmith at $150/course or Study.com at $199/2 courses are your best bet (obviously Study.com is cheaper). If you prefer testing out entirely, then Coopersmith is the way to go for UL.

Nice list thank you, makes things simple!
So just to make sure, If I were to enroll now I wouldn't have to pay any enrolment fee (the 1000$) and the only expenses for my degree would be the 7 credits needed to b taken at Excelsior correct? (+ ofc what I pay for the 113 credits I will get elsewhere)
It's been a while since I spoke to that advisor, more than a couple years I think so my info is probably very outdated.

Correct - the enrollment fee is gone, and they've added an Academic Services Fee of $28/cr to the fees so that you're only paying for what you actually take. (this is in addition to other fees).
The cost for 7cr at EC is $4,031.
I would also consider UMPI, you can get 90cr cheaply to transfer in, and then do 2-3 terms (that's what most people are doing, although 1 person on here has done a single term) for $2,800-$4,200. That will end up being cheaper than EC even if you do 3 terms, because you'll pay less for 90cr (UMPI) than you would for 113cr (EC).

UMPI has come up before but knowing myself it would end up costing more for me in the end, I despise writing not to mention I don't have time for it and am a huge procrastinator with things I dislike so I'm trying to steer clear of it
May I ask if there are any other major fees at Excelsior I should be aware of aside from what I can see on https://www.excelsior.edu/costs-and-fina...rgraduate/ ?

No other fees, you should keep your options open to UMPI though. 3 terms for $4200, and you just take mainly Sophia.org courses for the first 90 credits.

How long is a term at UMPI and what are the payment plan options there? The website was very confusing
