Quickest route to Bachelors with credit transfer
#11
A couple of things others mentioned that bear clarifying (for you and any others that might read this later):

1) UMPI requires a physical science and a biological science ("natural science" is normally either of those); and one of the science courses must have a lab component.

2) Sophia, Study.com, Saylor, CLEP - all of these are ACE or NCCRS - and none of them will have a grade. A school MAY bring in the score if they want, but most will not issue grades for these. For any of the schools we discuss regularly on this forum, none give a grade for ACE or NCCRS courses.

3) Your GPA at a school is based on the grades you get there. If you got a degree at TESU, transferring in 114cr, your TESU GPA would be based on just the 6cr you took at TESU (same at EU, 7cr). The main difference is that you would probably have a GPA at one or more schools since you need 24cr of RA as well. EU does not require any RA credit.

4) TESU only gives military rates to active-duty military; so for someone trying to get a degree before joining the military, you won't get their discount. But if you did get your degree there after enlisting for example, you could get a degree for $2,698 - not exactly "expensive" as someone mentioned. That price is for 6cr there plus 6 LL TECEP exams (so 24cr total).

5) EU only gives military rates to active-duty as well, and that price would be $2,211 (includes 7cr).

@Cbird90, Welcome to the board.  You've provided some basic details of what you're trying to do, but it's missing a few pieces of critical info, such as your budget, commitments, dedicated time to study, your study habits, etc.  I highly suggest completing the template and last post addendum here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

My suggestion is to do the Pierpont BOG AAS in with an emphasis Information Systems, transfer into the new program at WGU, it's their Bachelors/Masters accelerated option.  You should complete all the required Sophia.org, Study.com and other courses that can "max out" your transfer.  Then complete both degrees from WGU.

Note 1: If you just need the degrees for checking the box and GPA is not a concern.  Here's the thread with some details, a degree plan link to the WIKI is also available with details on what courses are available.  This accelerated undergrad/grad combo is what I recommend you complete:  https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ers-degree

Note 2: If GPA is a real concern for you, and you have the energy, money, time to complete UMPI BLS MIS minor, you can do the Pierpont BOG AAS, UMPI BLS MIS minor or add a second/third minor to get the GPA and some business courses under your belt, then finish your desired degree combo from WGU BSIT/MSITM last.
