Hi All
Well, I think I'm finally ready to officially enroll at Excelsior and would greatly appreciate some help working my way through the process. I contacted Excelsior today and was told that since I already have a degree from the college (AA in 1991 from then Regent's College) I do not need to apply, and can bypass the $80 fee and move directly to the enrollment process. I was also told that they have all my original credits on file, and could see I've taken 3 UExcel exams. However, I'm not sure if I should include the new credits I've accumulated by way of CLEP and Straighterline at this point. Would it be better to just wait for my enrollment form to be processed and then worry about sending my additional credits?
I spoke to 3 different advisers at Excelsior, and they all weren't quite sure how I should proceed. As a former grad I was unable to complete an online form, so I need to mail my form in, and also get a notarized identification form. I was also told that I could just pay the $80 and reapply, but still wasn't clear as to why that would be a better option...:willynilly:
I'd be so grateful if anyone could shed some light on how best to proceed. It's all as clear as mud to me...:ack:
Finally, since I want my actual grades from SL not the ACE pass/fail sent to Excelsior, I assume I need to contact SL directly? Will they do this?
And as an aside, I just found the CLEP transcript request form - for anyone else needing this, here's the link http://media.collegeboard.com/digitalSer...t-form.pdf
Thanks so much!
