Study.com format compared to SL
#1
When the “pre-proctor” column is 700 or more, you can pass the course before taking the final exam with SL courses.
Does SDC have the same format?  An example would be that I get 90-100 on SDC exams but bomb the final; would I still pass the course?

It doesn't work the same way, but it is similar. You need 210 of 300 points (70%) to pass each course, with 100 of those points coming from the quizzes. As for the balance, it depends on whether the course has assignments or not. For courses with assignments, the final exam is worth 100 points and the assignments are also worth 100 points. For courses without assignments, the final exam is worth 200 points.

Most courses don't have assignments, so for those, if you get 100 points on your quizzes you only need 55% (110 points) on the final exam to pass. For courses with assignments (mainly UL courses and writing courses), if you get 100% on the quizzes you need 110 points between the final exam and assignments to pass; with 100% on the final, you need 10% on the assignments, or vice-versa, or an average of 55% on both.
