Roadmap to UMPI BSc Psychology 2025
#11
Hello ss20ts, thanks for your response!

I already have a bachelor's and a master's degree (in unrelated fields, although the master's won't count toward the BA in Psychology). I've sent my transcripts through ECE, which, among the options I researched, was definitely the most convenient for me. Now, I'm waiting for them to send all the documents to UMPI.

I registered with Sophia to complete Intro to Psychology: Smarter Decisions, Life Span Development, and Introduction to Statistics. I've also started working on some GEC credits. Even if it's just to refresh my knowledge and I cannot transfer them, courses like Human Biology, Math, and Algebra have been super interesting.

Start with Sophia.org if you're missing anything other than what you've listed already, once you're done with Sophia.org, instead of getting Study.com for that $235, you can get 30% off with the discount in my Bio/Signature. Even if you need just 1 out of the 3 months subscription, you can cancel after the first month and still save 30% on that one month...

Thank you for your input—I really appreciate it!

A month of Study.com does sound tempting, even if it’s just for two subjects. The $164.50 price (with the 30% discount) is definitely a good deal.

From what I understand, Study.com requires proctored exams in addition to regular assignments. In contrast, it seems UMPI classes typically only involve assignments and don’t include proctored exams.

I’ll take some time to evaluate what works best with my schedule.

On a related note, I was wondering if there’s anything similar to Study.com specifically for Psychology classes. I checked the UMPI Class Review Master Thread (https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ter-Thread) and searched for “Psychology,” but I couldn’t find much information.

Thanks in advance for any insights!
