Well, today I found out that I have to take Freshman Comp w/essay. I scored a 48 ond the English comp W/Essay (FAILED). Anyone taken both essay exams? If so how do they compare. The college board website says the institution (TESC) you are attending will grade the 2 essays from the Frshman course.. Are the essay's had written or on the computer like the English Comp Essay?

I took Freshman College Composition w/out essay and passed with a 72. I later found out TESC would not accept it.

So I can't help you with the essay part, but I can tell you that the other part is very easy! Most of the questions on my version were simple word usage/grammar questions. So if you speak good english, and can pinpoint basic grammatical errors you should do fine. Also, when I talked to my advisor at TESC she said that Freshman College Composition w/ essay is generally considered to be easier than English Composition w/ essay.
