SOS 110, Critical Information Literacy | Assignment
#1
If there is no textbook for SOS 110, how do we write assignments? will it be from generic topics?

------------------------------------------
Critical Information Literacy provides a foundation for achieving one's academic goals, even if students are reentering academic study after an interruption in their formal schooling. Through interactive instructional software programs, students evaluate and strengthen their skills in critical thinking, writing, and information literacy. At the same time, students receive a hands-on introduction to the Thomas Edison State University learning environment as they build skills in both baccalaureate-level research and professional communication. Learn more about this requirement.

Please Note:  There are no textbooks required for this course. Students will be required to purchase access to MyFoundationsLab. A link will be available in the course at the start of the semester.

It's a very easy, and straightforward class. Each week's assignments provide detailed instructions for searching for sources, writing about topics etc. It's primarily about using basic research skills and being able to cite academic sources.

I believe all reading material is provided through a shared Google Drive, and then your assignments are based on those lessons and modules.
