Augusta U Online - $7-8k Masters Degrees!!!
#31
Correct. In Any Field.
I have an MPA, MBA, MAOL, MSc-E-Business, MSc Health Administration, and Master of Public Health. I started Cumberland's PhD in IT Security, and I was stupid enough to waste nine credits of money when I realized that the university, its students, and its academic faculty are not up to par, and I am just getting pieces of paper.
Hence don't want DBA or EdD. I just want the PhD.
I searched many of the universities, and everyone I looked at is at least 36K. I looked at Liberty and it is around the same.
Hence, looking around for other experiences that have these degrees and seeing what is relevant.
The cost is a big factor; otherwise, I could have done the South College DBA or EdD since they pretty much meet the good enough cost model. I don't have employer who pays for it.
Thanks

Doctoral programs are not cheap at all. You are going to spend at least 25k. If you are looking for a PhD I do not have one so I would advise keep searching but if you are open to a doctor in healthcare administration I would recommend Oklahoma State University, since you have an MSc in Health Administration and a Masters in Public Health, they will accept up to 30 credits towards their doctoral program which leaves you with 32 credits to complete. The cost is $530 per credit, which is very affordable; if you can get the credits transferred, it will cost you under 17k to get the degree.
OSU is regionally accredited, has no dissertation, and is a recognized state university. All work can be completed online.

Thank you !!
This is great. I will explore this. 25K is OK but paying above 28K is difficult for me.
Thanks again.

International Students must keep in mind, that in accordance with Board of Regents Policy 4.1.6, all applicants for admission to Augusta University are required to provide validation of lawful presence in the United States. So it probably won't work for someone who is not in the US.
