Asking for my son-
Does anyone know what math course transfer into COSC as College Algebra? I have read two different options for TESU—Mathematics II or taking both Alg 1 and Alg2, but I want to know what COSC transfers it in as.
Also, what does Intermediate Algebra through Aleks transfer in as for COSC?

If he has not already taken Aleks I believe it's ace approval expired in September. So it would no longer be an option for credit.

He already took Intermediate Algebra through Aleks last summer. He didn't finish College Algebra in time before the expiration.
I did hear back from COSC and it sounds like they won't approve any of the Shmoop math courses as 'college algebra.'

Hopefully the ACE recommendation for ALEKS changes back, as I would like my daughter to take their course. I'm sorry your son didn't get it in time. I think it's been extended at least one time in 2016 that people were hoping it would be again. I heard that that not having a proctor was the main issue...but I don't know
