You may have no choice but to duplicate your effort a bit for a degree from TESU or UMPI. It sucks to spend over a thousand dollars on something like that, but it happens sometimes. Most students here have done similar, or worse, in the past and have come here to get set on the path to a valid, useful, degree.

If they intend to switch to an RA school like TESU for the same degree (CS), it may be important that they NOT finish the degree at UofPeople.

I agree with @dfrecore, he should apply to a few colleges that accept RA credit, see how their transfer credits are applied, and work out which path best meets their goals.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

I agree with @dfrecore, he should apply to a few colleges that accept RA NA credit, see how their transfer credits are applied, and work out which path best meets their goals.

Since TESU doesn't accept NA credits (or NA degrees), it won't matter that they have an NA degree - TESU will not recognize it in any way.  So you can get an NA degree in CompSci and then get an RA CompSci degree from TESU as well.  It will not count as a second degree at TESU.
