Hello, 

I appreciate the insights on forum and like many here I am feeling overwhelmed by options and possibilities. I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer on the direction that would be best for me to take. Here is my information, including my academic goal (as best as I know it). . . 


Your Location:  Missouri 

Your Age: 17 (high school graduate) 

What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelor’s (Don’t care what major. General Studies is fine. 
Looking for quick) 

-Considering SNHU General Studies with Business Concentration

-Curious about TESU and resident requirement waiver  

Current Regional Accredited Credits: None

Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits:

At this point in time, TESU looks like the best option, you can do the 15 credits flat rate instead of just two classes and the Edison Accelerate Fee (Residency Waiver). You want more graded credits, if you don't want to do the flat rate, you can still go the route you mentioned. Hmm, because you've got such a lengthy timeline, you may want to get graduate credits instead of using that flat rate... What I mean by this is to get the degree of your choice, then for 15 credits residency, you can take the flat rate for the Bachelor to Masters classes.

Thank you. This is some really good information that I had not considered. I was almost settled on SNHU but started learning more about TESU. . .thanks for your input.
