Hot off the presses! Human Biology Lab is coming to Sophia mid-next week, roughly January 18th. 

This is a lab credit, similar to Chemistry, to complete your biology credits!

No kidding !! I'm super excited as my granddaughter is doing human bio right now!! Bummer for me though I guess I could take the lab portion and still finish the final exam on study for that bio course...

 I've already done the human biology course and the course and lab at Study, just need the final there.

 I've already done the human biology course ( Sophia) and the course and lab Bio 101 - L at Study, just need the final there.

Do we have confirmation the Human Biology Lab course from Sophia will definitely transfer for credit towards the BIO Lab course gen ed requirement at UMPI? I know Intro to Chemistry and the Lab at Sophia were validated as transferring for general ed credits at UMPI. The Chemistry Lab Reports require writing actual lab courses and I was not sure if this is the same requirement for Human Bio Lab?

Nothing is confirmed about the human biology lab yet, and won't be until people transfer it places, but I'd say that there is a good 99% chance that it'll work. It'll probably be like the Chem one and require a lab report, too.

Zero doubt this would happen, and surprised they didn't drop it earlier. SDC had a sure winner, and now there is no reason to take your labs there. Between Sophia being free during early Covid and all of the courses they have, their value is off the chart.

So considering Human Biology lab meets 3E, which it should, there are two paths you can take.

Human Biology & lab (3C & 3E requirement)
Environmental Science or Chemistry (3D requirement)

Chemistry & Lab (3D & 3E requirement)
Human Biology or Intro to Nutrition (3C)
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management
