Last year two of mine got the splendid deal with Sophia.org for a year of access for $149. Alas, that year is nearly up and neither is quite finished with them. Does anyone know what Sophia.org does when the renewal date hits? Do they switch to month-to-month and automatically charge me for a month, or something else?

They don't switch automatically. The one year thing wasn't a subscription so they don't renew. You have to go in and subscribe to the monthly thing once the year is up.

I have already received my email telling me what will happen. It does NOT automatically renew. Your subscription will end. Then you will need to sign up for the monthly plan. Or just let your subscription lapse. They do not have a year long subscription. Just the monthly subscription.
