Excelsior courses - are they proctored?

Hello! I've been a lurker of these informative forums for a while and decided to join today. Here's some background on me: I'm a newer RN with an associates degree after having worked as an LPN/LVN for four years. I'm looking into earning a distance-based BSN (bachelor of science in nursing) degree from one of three schools: Excelsior, TESC, or Oklahoma Wesleyan University. All three schools seem to have generous policies on transferring credits, which is why I am looking closely at their online nursing programs.

Here's my question. Are the online courses at Excelsior College proctored? They seem to have plenty of good and interesting course offerings. Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to answer my question.

EC courses are just online courses and most don't have exams just writing assignments. EC exams are taken at Pearson Vue test centers and they are proctored. You will need a picture ID, you will be photographed and fingerprinted. They are the strictest test center I have ever tested with and I have tested at a lot.
