Starting with an Associates to get Bachelors
#1
Hello everyone! I have earned almost enough credits to earn my associates at my local Community College (61 - missing 1 math class and 1 language class).
I will list my classes below but since I am starting from here:
What path and university would you all recommend for me to finish as soon as possible for a BA/BS in Psychology? I am doing my best to research but it is a bit overwhelming with all the options. I am reading the wiki also. Thank you.

Classes completed:
CLP-1006 Psych Of Personal Efficiency
ENC-1101 English Comp 1
MAN-2021 Principle Of Management
MAR-1011 Principle Of Marketing
ANT-2000 Intro to Anthropology
ENC-1102 English Comp 2
PSY-2012 Intro To Psychology
ARH-1000 Art Appreciation
AST-1002 Descriptive Astronomy
SLS-1106 First year Seminar
SPC-1017 Introduction to Communication

CAP-1788 Introduction to Data Analytics
COP-1047C Introduction to Python Program
HUN-1201 Essentials of Human Nutrition
MGF-1130 Mathematical Thinking

61 total credits, really 60 since the First year seminar was 1 credit. If you need more info about the classes please ask and I'll answer asap.

Thank you again Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Hello there:

You have a lot of options, but the likely best are UMPI and TESU, in that order. You can likely finish UMPI in 2-3 sessions, at a cost of around $3600-$5400 for those sessions, while TESU is a bit more. Similar degree plan requirements.

Here is the degree plan for UMPI: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan
Here is the degree plan for TESU: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
Completed: HAU MBA | BA Economics (US)

Welcome to the board, it's great to ask questions to get the ball rolling, you've got two institutions presented to you with various degree options. Having said that, you mentioned Psychology... It's best to provide a clearer overview of your situation... And, to provide a bigger picture of your scenario, it's best to fill in the addendum and template: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

I had another question and was hoping you could shed some light on. It is my understanding that I need to have the Study .com and Sophia credits before I apply to TESU or UMPI, is that correct? Or can I earn them while enrolled and transfer them over later?

Thank you!

Good news is it's not correct! At TESU and UMPI you're free to transfer in new credits from outside sources including Study and Sophia at any time while enrolled.

At WGU you cannot, and at Excelsior you want to avoid it because Excelsior will add a large fee.

Awesome! That is such a relief to hear as I was doing my application today and wanted to be sure before paying the fee to submit. Thank you! Big Grin

Can you confirm the number of credits for each course, especially the Python, Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity ones?

I'd like that too... We can post the credits transferred from the Associates to the Bachelors and how these would come in. Oh, and banned/removed your hidden link!
