The last day for my membership is the 14th. I need every little bit of study time left available and need to take a proctored exam for my course. Can I schedule the proctored exam on the 14th? when will my account physically shut off, midnight? early that morning? Anyone dealt with this?

Yup Yup, you need to do the exam any time BEFORE 6 pm Eastern Time. I always tell people to do it a few hours early.
If you're on the west coast, it would be 3 pm Pacific Time. Don't take it too late as once it crosses 9 pm Pacific, *poof*!
