Hi, I searched around and couldn't find an answer that clears this up enough.
I'm taking Straighterline courses with the intention of graduating from TESC next year. I would like the grades to show up on my transcript. From what I've read here and elsewhere, SL credits are pass/fail IF you transfer them in via ACE.
BUT, what if you transfer the credits directly through SL, since TESC is one of their partner colleges? Can you get the letter grades on your transcript? I'm worried about meeting grad school requirements (I currently only have a 2.81 GPA with my current 56 transfer credits). Thanks.

All of my SL credits show up pass/fail, regardless of how I've transferred them (some ace, some direct).
If there is a way to get them on a TESC transcript, I'm not aware of it.
Currently studying for: Still deciding.
Done!

I thought that TESC will accept an ACE transcript so, once the StraighterLine courses have been added there, you can transfer them to TESC.

ACE credits are always pass/fail though. I want the letter grades if possible to raise my GPA.

Unfortunately, no matter how you send your SL credits, they'll appear as P/F.

Keep in mind that most graduate schools will calculate your GPA based on their requirements. Even if you found a way for TESC to show grades for Straighterline it would depend on how the graduate school views Straighterline. I believe you can get the same results by forwarding a Straighterline transcript with your grad school application. They will be able to see how well you did and hopefully they will take it into consideration when evaluating your application.

COSC gave me letter grades & gpa on my evaluation. I sent the transcript directly from Straighterline.

That's something to think about! Though I've never attended COSC, there are a few categories that they beat TESC, this might be one of them.
