Haha. Yeah I only mentioned that I could have finished faster in case someone wanted to know how fast these courses could be completed. One really can complete one of these courses in a day. The amount of writing involved for the course is less than a whole week of writing at a grad course at NCU and I usually spend 1-1.5 days writing for my NCU courses each week.
BSBA CIS from TESC, BA Natural Science/Math from TESC
MBA Applied Computer Science from NCU
Enrolled at NCU in the PhD Applied Computer Science

bldclot2 Wrote:1. Do I need to register with the credentialing school first, or do I go straight to Vesi and complete the course and then register with the school that will be issuing the transcript-ed grade?
YOU REGISTER WITH VESI THEY WILL SEND YOUR INFO TO THE SCHOOL, WHEN YOU ARE READY TO ORDER TRANSCRIPTS YOU REQUEST THEM FROM THE SCHOOL. Always verify with VESI.
2. I am considering 12 graduate credits and I wanted to find out how many vesi courses can be done at one time?
YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR AS MANY AS YOU WANT, YOU HAVE ONE YEAR TO COMPLETE AND YOU CAN'T REQUEST CREDIT WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF STARTING A COURSE.
3. For anyone that has/may be considering Amberton, do you know if all the vesi courses can be applied to their degrees, or should I be looking at specific courses that will meet a certain concentration?
MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THEY WILL ONLY APPLY TO THE MA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, BECAUSE IT'S A TYPE OF LIBERAL ARTS DEGREE WITH MANY DIFFERENT SUBJECTS. I'M STICKING WITH THE COUNSELING TYPE VESI COURSES. I HOPE THEY TAKE VESI FOR TRANSFER, I'M COUNTING ON IT. I know one or two old forum members did this route a few years back, hope it still works.
Does anyone have any updated information on VESI courses transferring to Amberton? Thanks!
