I will be starting the MA program in Professional Development from Amberton University. First I will complete 4 VESi courses through Morningside College for a total of 12 graduate level credits only costing me $980. A STEAL. I will then transfer these credits into my degree plan at Amberton. You may transfer ANY graduate level credits acquired from other regionally accredited schools, but your limit is 12. For more information, do a search in the forum and you will see what I mean.
This program is very affordable at under $7,000, and you have the opportunity to basically mix and match ANY combo of grad courses offered online at Amberton aside from two mandatory courses.
This will leave me with 8 classes. In order to receive military tuition assistance, I must have four of those classes belong to a particular graduate certificate program at Amberton, considering the Navy's policy in that they will fund one undergraduate degree, one masters, and one grad certificate, and I will already have my masters degree from Central Michigan University by the time I start my final four courses at Amberton.
Does anybody have experience with the online courses at Amberton University? I'm a little nervous about it considering the majority of my school experience has been in the classroom setting and I hear that the coursework is no walk in the park. Does anybody have any further information? I thank you for your time.
