Just a heads up, if you recently requested a transcript from SL be sent directly to an institution, check your e-mail. I noticed my transcript request from over a month ago never got to TESU. I requested another transcript after completing a few more courses at the end of last month and promptly got an unofficial transcript again. This time however I noticed that I received a separate e-mail from SL a few days later:
[INDENT]Hello Captain Awesomepants,
We are writing to let you know that we have already processed your unofficial transcript. We want to confirm that you also are requesting an official transcript to be be sent to Thomas Edison State University as well. Please respond to this email confirming your request so we can send the official transcript.
We are experiencing a high volume of transcript requests due to Fall Semester deadlines and we are processing them as quickly as possible, once we get your confirmation we will be able to move forward with your transcript request.
Thanks for your patience,

I'm assuming I missed this e-mail last time so they didn't send the official transcript. Not sure why they'd need me to confirm that when I requested a transcript sent to TESU when that is what I specifically requested originally. If your transcript isn't received promptly, check your e-mail and spam folder!

So for now, it seems like it's better to add StraighterLine courses to your ACE transcript than to have it sent directly from StraighterLinet to TESU. Thanks for the heads up!

I would recommend simply confirming the request as Straighterline transcripts are free. Not to mention TESU has a new limit on number of credits accepted from one source. Best to keep SL and ACE separate if planning to transfer a large amount of credit via ACE.

Good points, I had forgotten transcripts sent directly from SL were free as I've only ever done it through ACE.

ACE approvals from SL are lightning quick however - typically next business day in my experience. Go figure.

Would you mind expanding upon this a bit more, please? This made me worried, LOL! And thanks for the heads up about it, too!

Quote: A maximum of 90 semester hours of credit may be transferred in from a single source toward a bachelor’s degree and 45 semester hours may be transferred in from a single source toward an associate degree.

The limit has been around for a while, but someone recently had TESU apply it to their ACE transcript. ACE is a transcript service and not a source of credit. I believe they fixed it after a ticket was opened.

So ACE is considered the "single source" and not each company? I thought ALEKS was one source, TEEX was one source and so on. This means that you can only send in 90 credits total through ACE now?

No. It's still 90 from a single source, not 90 from ACE. As stated above, one person had it mistakenly applied to their ACE transcript as a whole, but it was fixed after a ticket was opened.
You can have multiple sources on your ACE transcript, as long as one of those sources doesn't go over 90, it's okay if your ACE transcript as a whole is over 90
