Most institutions will allow a max transfer limit from another institution, when you mentioned Study.com and other alternative credit options such as internal challenge exams or PLA at the graduate level, they'll also have restrictions on those as well. Furthermore, ACE is more acceptable than NCCRS for transfers, you can use these as part of the PLA documentation process to give it a stronger application.
