Hi Everyone. I trust that you are well. Two questions.
I am enrolled for the Bsc in business through Excelsior, transferring 113 credits in. I am starting with the Cornerstone and Information Literacy course next Monday. Can anyone give me a heads up on how that course is (IND301 Cornerstone B Pathways)? How difficult is it? Round about how many hours should I look at dedicating to it weekly as I work full time. What is the general layout of the course?
Second question, I am finishing off my last upper level courses on study.com. I had enrolled for 5, wrote 2 exams and now it is asking me for $70 per additional exam? I thought being on the College saver plan meant you could complete up to 5 courses without any additional payment required? I emailed study.com two days ago but have not received a response as yet. Has anyone encountered that on the college saver plan?

When was your SDC account registered? If you registered before the launch of the College Saver program, please apply for a refund as soon as possible, provided that you haven't completed any courses or transferred credits. Then, register again with a new email address for your studies. I had a similar experience where customer service responded extremely slowly—it might take a week or even more than ten days. In the end, I couldn't get a refund, and $235 was wasted. Right now, I'm hiding in a corner, crying alone.

Study.com previously was $235/month and only 2 per month, each additional exam was $70, to a max of 3 extra exams. The new College Saver option is the same price, but unlimited exams, two at a time. You need to decide, to keep this account and pay for the extra class. Or, you will have to start a new College Saver account to reap the benefits if you have additional classes (more than 1).
In short, emailing support won't help as they can't switch you from old to new subscriptions, you need to start a new account. Decide, if $70 for the final class is what you need, or $235 for more than 5 classes if you can handle them that quickly. You can email them to make sure, but you also need to think about your decision due to the remaining class or classes you want to take.

Thanks for your response.
I created this account in April this year? Had they already launched this new college saver plan by then or they only launched it after April? I was doing my last 5 courses which would put me at 111 credits (besides the 7 that I am taking with Excelsior). So I wanted to take 2 or 3 extra courses for good measure in case there are issues with transferring the other courses

Yes, that's the time they rolled out the new subscription option, you are on the old subscription. Very easy, finish all you have at Study.com and send those credits into Excelsior. Create a new College Saver account, finish the final three or more classes (I would do more if you wanted to), and then you're done... Make sure your credits are all showing properly with Excelsior.

Basically, decide which route is best for you, taking 3 exams at $70 each, or a new account with my 10% off would be about the same price. If you're looking for a 10% discount, you can use the Study.com offer link on my bio or signature...
