Study.com Course Format
#11
If you are not a fast reader and are watching the videos, you can adjust the playback speed (to 1.25 or 1.5 for example) and that will shave some time off the total amount viewing. I've been alternating between reading the transcripts and changing the speeds, and so far watching them at 1.25 is working best for me.

Personally I tried SL and really hated it (didn't pass any classes there) but so far I'm loving Study.com. I'm enjoying the platform so much I might skip Modern States and pay extra to take those classes here instead.

I like that you can view all the lengths for each chapter's videos and add up how much time each chapter will take, and use that to plan out each day's work. I also like the goal section where you tell it when you want to finish the course and it tells you which chapters you need to complete each week to meet the goal.

I also didn't do well with SL. I love the videos at Study.com and usually watch them at 1.75 speed without a problem.
